Countries have a ruler (daimyo), but villages are where ninjas live and work.

Each village has a leader called Kage.

What does a Kage do?

He is the most important ninja in the village.

He is in charge of:

• protecting it, to lead the ninjas, to make important decisions, *Represent the village to the others.

It's like a mix between a military commander and a head of government for the ninja village.

And what do the ninjas do?

They don't just fight.

They also carry out missions such as:

• escorting people, investigate, capture criminals, *protect villages,
• gather information.

The missions are classified by difficulty:

*D: very easy.

• C: easy. *B: moderate risk.
• A: very difficult. S: extremely dangerous.

Why do villages fight?

Each village protects the interests of its country.

They compete for prestige, resources, and security, and in the past there were several ninja wars between them.

However, as the story progresses, many of those rivalries begin to diminish and the villages cooperate more with each other.

Naruto's favorite place; it also represents one of the few places where he felt accepted as a child.

🍜 What is it?

It's a small ramen stand in the Hidden Leaf Village, run by:

*Teuchi, the owner.

• Ayame, his daughter.

❤️ Why is it so important?

When Naruto was little, most adults avoided him because he had Kurama sealed inside him.

However, Teuchi never treated him like a monster. He simply saw Naruto as just another customer… and as a child who deserved to eat a good bowl of ramen.

This caused Naruto to develop a great affection for Ichiraku and its owners.

🍥 Naruto's favorite food

Naruto is a ramen fanatic, especially the miso ramen with pork (chashu) prepared by Ichiraku.

Every time he is there:

*Happy,

• Sad, Celebrating a mission, or simply feeling hungry…

It's very likely that I'll end up sitting at Ichiraku with a bowl of ramen.

🤝 A symbol of home

For Naruto, Ichiraku is not just a restaurant.

It is a place where he never had to earn the right to be accepted.

That's why he keeps coming back, even after becoming a famous ninja. More than the taste of the ramen, what he appreciates is the family atmosphere and the warmth with which he's always been welcomed.

Simply put: if Konoha is your home, Ichiraku is like your trusted diner. 🍜💛

Sasuke Uchiha

Probably the most important relationship in the entire series.

They start out as teammates and rivals. Naruto admires Sasuke because he's talented, while Sasuke sees Naruto as a hindrance… at first.

Over time, they develop a very deep bond. When Sasuke leaves the village, Naruto promises to bring him back and makes that promise one of his main life goals.

It is a relationship full of rivalry, respect, conflict and enormous affection, although they rarely express it with words.

🌸 Sakura Haruno

At the beginning, Naruto is in love with Sakura, and she usually rejects or scolds him.

Over the years, that relationship matures considerably. Sakura stops seeing him as the clumsy boy and begins to trust him completely.

In the end, they are great friends and colleagues who support each other.

🐺 Kakashi Hatake

His first great teacher.

Kakashi not only teaches him techniques, but also teamwork, responsibility, and what it means to protect teammates.

Over time, their relationship becomes almost paternal.

🐸 Jiraiya

His teacher for almost three years.

More than a coach, Jiraiya becomes a father figure to Naruto.

He teaches him ninjutsu, helps him control Kurama's chakra, and transmits his worldview to him.

Jiraiya's influence marks Naruto forever. Instead of calling him by his name, Naruto shows him no respect and refers to him as "pervy sage" because he's always doing lewd things. He calls him that even when speaking directly to him.

Kurama

They start by hating each other.

Kurama considers Naruto a mere human who keeps him locked up.

Naruto sees Kurama as the one responsible for the entire village rejecting him.

Over time they learn to understand each other and end up forming a friendship based on mutual trust.

Although Naruto grows up without his parents, both of them greatly influence him.

🍃 Chakra

Chakra is the energy source used by ninjas.

It is created by mixing:

*Physical energy (the body's strength).

• Spiritual energy (the mind, emotions, and will).

Without chakra, a ninja can practically not use special techniques.

Think of it as the body's "fuel".

🔥 Jutsu

Jutsu simply means “technique”.

It is a general term for any special skill used by a ninja.

Every ninjutsu, taijutsu or genjutsu is a jutsu.

🥷 Ninjutsu

It is the type of jutsu that uses chakra to create special effects.

Examples:

Shadow clones. Fireballs. *Summoning giant animals.

• Techniques of water, earth, wind, lightning, etc.

Basically, it's the "magic" of the Naruto world.

👊Taijutsu

Taijutsu is hand-to-hand combat.

Here, chakra is hardly used to launch techniques; the important thing is:

*Force.

• Speed. Reflexes. Martial arts.

Examples:

*Punches.

• Kicks. *Keys.
• Acrobatics.

Characters like Rock Lee and Might Guy are the greatest experts in taijutsu.

🌀 And genjutsu?

While we're at it, there's one very important one missing.

Genjutsu uses chakra to create illusions.

It doesn't directly harm the body, but the mind.

It makes the victim see, hear, or feel things that are not real.

For example, Itachi Uchiha is one of the most feared genjutsu users.

Many years ago, the Nine-Tailed Fox (Kurama), a beast with enormous power, attacked the Hidden Leaf Village and caused massive destruction.

To stop it, the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, made an extreme decision: he sealed Kurama inside his newborn son, Naruto, sacrificing his own life in the process. His wife, Kushina, who was the previous jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails, also died during that attack.

The problem was that almost no one in the village knew the whole truth. They only knew that Naruto carried the monster inside him.

As a result:

Adults were afraid of him or rejected him. Many children avoided approaching him because they were imitating their parents. Naruto grew up alone, not understanding why everyone treated him that way.

Over time, Naruto discovers that Kurama is a sentient being sealed inside him. At first, they hate each other: Kurama tries to manipulate him to escape, and Naruto sees him as the cause of his suffering.

But as the story progresses, they both begin to understand each other and end up forming a very deep friendship and trust, becoming one of the most powerful duos in the ninja world.

In summary: Naruto is not the fox, but the jinchūriki, that is, the person who has the Nine-Tailed Beast sealed inside him.

He wears the classic ninja headband of the Hidden Leaf Village:

The metal plate has the Konoha symbol engraved on it. The fabric is usually black in Shippuden. *He almost always wears it on his forehead.

Changes when he uses Kurama's chakra

When he releases part of the Nine-Tails' power:

• His eyes can turn red. *The pupils take on a shape more like that of a fox.
• Its fangs become more pronounced. The marks on her cheeks become thicker and more noticeable. Her expression becomes much fiercer.

Later on, he undergoes transformations where his body is covered by a golden chakra cloak with black patterns, giving him an almost luminous appearance.

Naruto has a youthful and quite expressive face. His most characteristic features are:

Three whisker-like markings on each cheek. They are not scars or paint; they have been with him since birth and are related to the Nine-Tails' chakra. His eyes are large, intense blue, and very expressive. When he is happy, they seem very bright, but when he is angry or serious, his expression changes completely. Thin, blond eyebrows, the same shade as her hair. A wide and very characteristic smile, although she can also adopt a surprisingly serious expression when the situation requires it.

Hair

Her hair is:

*Bright blonde.

• Short. *Very disheveled with numerous spiky strands sticking out in all directions.
• It never really looks like it's styled; that messy look is part of its design.

Build

At the beginning of Shippuden:

Its biggest flaws

Not everything is positive.

It has several major flaws:

He is extremely stubborn. He can be reckless. He finds it hard to give up even when it would be the most sensible thing to do. Sometimes he carries problems alone that he should share. He is emotionally impulsive. He tends to idealize the people he loves. You may neglect your own well-being in order to help others.

Naruto is a person who transformed loneliness into an immense need to connect with others, and that same experience made him someone capable of understanding even those whom no one else was willing to listen to.

Protective

When you consider someone important…

…I would do absolutely anything for that person.

It doesn't matter if it's a friend, a teacher, or even someone you just met.

Their instinct is to protect.

And if you feel you failed to protect someone…

There is a lot of blame.

Very emotional

Naruto feels everything very intensely.

She gets very excited.

She cries easily.

He gets angry easily.

She laughs easily.

He is not someone who hides what he feels.

He is very emotionally transparent.

Quite impulsive

Herein lies one of its most obvious flaws.

He often acts before he thinks.

He throws himself into combat without a plan.

He says things without considering the consequences.

He trusts too quickly.

Naruto usually believes in people.

Sometimes too much.

He finds it hard to accept that someone can be completely evil.

Always believe there's a hidden good side.

That can make him seem innocent.

But it is also one of the reasons why he inspires others so much.

Very loyal

Even when everyone else has already done it.

Naruto Uzumaki's Personality

Extroverted… because he's afraid of being alone

Naruto is extremely sociable. He talks to anyone, makes jokes, seeks attention, and always wants to be surrounded by people.

But this isn't simply because he's "very cheerful." As a child, he was rejected by practically the entire village without understanding why. Nobody wanted to play with him, many adults avoided him, and others even looked at him with fear.

As a result, he developed a need to be seen by others. If no one was going to want him, at least he would make sure everyone noticed him.

That's why he was constantly playing pranks as a child.

He was looking for someone to pay attention to him.

He does not accept "it's impossible".
