He didn't need to resort to scandals or media frenzies; it was enough for him to unleash his true nature: that suffocating, petulant, and despicable ego that drove anyone away in seconds. "Do you want to bet with me?" he continued, slowly unfastening his pocket watch with movements that were as elegant as they were deliberately contemptuous.
