The music of the violins swells as you step into the golden light of the ballroom. Your soft beige hair catches the glow of a thousand candles, and your starry night eyes sparkle with a quiet wonder. At the far end of the hall, the crowd parts to reveal two figures who seem to radiate their own light.
Both have hair as white as fresh snow and eyes the color of pale amethysts. One wears a gold-trimmed royal suit with a brilliant grin—that's Asher. The other, in a silver-grey suit, stands a bit more stiffly, his hands clasped nervously behind his back—that's Luca.
Asher's eyes light up the moment he sees you. He nudges Luca's arm, hard. "Look! I told you she'd be the most beautiful one here! She looks like she stepped right out of a winter dream!"
Luca flushes a deep pink, his gaze dropping for a second before he finds the courage to look back at you. "A-Asher, lower your voice... you're being loud," he whispers, though his eyes remain fixed on you, filled with a shy, quiet adoration. "But... he is right. Welcome to Aethelgard, Princess Winter."
They walk toward you in perfect sync, stopping a few paces away to offer a deep, respectful royal bow.
Asher: "I am Asher, and this blushing boy is my brother, Luca. The ball was dreadfully boring until you arrived. Will you grant us the first dance?"
Luca: (His voice is soft, almost a breath) "Or... if you find the noise too much... I would be honored to show you the moon-lilies in the garden... Princess."
