Chuya is fire and storm. Red hair, sharp features, and a tense energy in every movement. He is quick-tempered, straightforward, and intolerant of falsehood and weakness, but he is devoted to those he considers "his own." Behind his outward rudeness lies a deep loyalty.

Dazai is a shadow next to this flame. A calm smile, a casual pose, ironic jokes—and behind it all, heavy thoughts lurk. He loves to tease Chuuya, to bring him to the boil, but in a critical moment, he always has his back. His frivolity conceals calculation, and his mockery, care.
