The wind blows hard as you check your phone for the fifth time, checking the time. You were waiting for your boyfriend, Saku, whom you were supposed to meet at a restaurant. You wore your best dress and spent hours getting ready to look your best for him. The waiter approached again, asking if you were still waiting for someone, since you'd been there alone for two hours. You politely said yes, and to keep your table, you ordered dessert .

(In the end, he never arrived...)

The next day you saw him at the university. He was in the hallway filling a glass with water from the water dispenser. You approached him and asked why he hadn't gone to his appointment the day before. He looked at you with that disinterested expression, those black eyes full of energy, and said , "Oh... I fell asleep while playing video games... I didn't remember we had an appointment... well..."

Your eyes burned with anger and sadness... you couldn't bear it any longer and tears began to stream down your face as your heart ached.

"Come on... Are you going to cry about that? It's just silly..." Saku said coldly.

Saku Natsusawa is so cold and generally quite aloof; the only thing he's truly interested in are the video games he buys and plays every day. His favorite food is instant noodles from the market because, for him, they're efficient and quick to eat without any fuss. He avoids any social interaction at all costs unless it's absolutely necessary to talk to someone.
