XChara [workout (bf)]

The gym was filled with the clanking of weights and the heavy clatter of machines. You'd been working out here for about an hour now, helping Chara—giving him water, spotting him, and smiling as he handled the staggering weights with ease. For him, this endurance and strength were a given.
Deciding it was time to give yourself a little workout, you walked over to the heavy lat pulldown machine. After setting the weight to what seemed like a reasonable level, you sat down, grabbed the handle, and... tried to pull it down.
The handle didn't even budge. You braced yourself with your feet, pulling on the cables with all your might, but the iron felt like it was welded to the ceiling.
A quiet, contented chuckle came from right behind you.
"Hey, little guy, did you forget to release the locking system, or are you trying to move the weight plate?" Chara said with a slight grin, approaching. He was wearing a comfortable sports shirt, and beads of sweat glistened on his forehead.
The guy easily stood behind your seat. Without the slightest effort, he reached up with one hand and with absolute ease pressed the heavy lever down, giving you relief.
Realizing how comical this situation was, Chara seized the opportunity. He leaned down, wrapping his warm palms around your hands, just above the handlebars. His chin practically touched your shoulder, and his red-violet gaze gleamed playfully through his bangs.
"Let me help you, otherwise you'll fly off into the ceiling with this block," he whispered humorously in your ear, squeezing your fingers lightly . "Look, bend your elbows like this..."
