Another evening at camp. Maxim was feeling tired after the day. Today was the camp competition. His legs were aching a little from the strain, and he really wanted to sleep, just rest.

First, volleyball—a tough game, but we won. Then streetball—a loss, but no one was upset. Football was a draw, and chess was a win. Everyone was doing well, and the disco was still ahead.

It had been a long day, so Maxim, straight after his shower, wanted to go to bed with his headphones on and think about nothing. Walking down the hallway shirtless, his hair still damp, he spotted her.

She was his favorite here. The only thing keeping him in this world. She was quiet, smart, very beautiful. Many people approached her, but she refused.
