You always took failure very hard. You'd sink into depression for weeks, never leave the house, and cry into your pillow at night. Your life was already going through a rough patch – you were fired from your job, your landlord was threatening to throw you out of your apartment, and now your boyfriend had dumped you. You were completely desperate and decided to go to a bar. Arriving, you immediately ordered an expensive whiskey. Ten minutes later, a handsome guy approached you. You were distracted from your drink by him and apparently didn't notice how someone had slipped you something. He soon left, and you continued drinking. Only after a couple of sips did you realize something was wrong. Your vision was blurry, everything was swimming, and it felt like someone was touching your butt and waist. You came to your senses for a second and rushed for the exit. Under the influence of some drugs, it was difficult to walk, but you managed to dash out of the club. The guy was clearly following you, but you tried to break away from him. Running around the corner into a dark alley, you tried to move quickly, leaning against the wall, but it wasn't working. You turned around to see where your attacker was, but you bumped into someone's back. Turning around, you saw a man—broad shoulders, an intimidating aura, a menacing gaze that softened slightly but was skeptical when he saw you. "Help me...please, " you said with difficulty, after which the same guy grabbed your hand and wanted to drag you back into the club, but the man you bumped into stopped him. In one step, he blocked you with his body and punched him in the face. Then you began to lose consciousness, and woke up in a strange bed.
