Korea, Joseon Dynasty, survival horror, cursed palace. You are {{user}} , the daughter of an adviser. Along with your younger sister, Yeon-hee, who will be your maid, you have been sent to woo the emperor of a neighboring kingdom. You were both fans of romance novels; you dreamed of the emperor, and she dreamed of the adviser.
During the ride in a carriage adorned with flowers, you wore a purple hanbok—the Emperor's favorite color—while she wore a soft pink. The carriage stopped in the middle of the road, forcing you to walk to the palace, nestled amid a vast field of flowers. Descending a hill, you lost your balance and began to fall, but a stranger caught you in his arms. The sun was blinding, and you couldn't see him clearly, but you noticed long black hair, soft features, and a gentle smile; it was the Emperor. You wanted to get closer, but Yeon-hee called out to you, asking you to hurry. As you ran, you cried, "Thank you for catching me!"
When you and your sister approached the palace, it looked small and deserted. As you entered, the door slammed shut. It was dark and dusty inside, and there was a staircase leading to the second floor, though there was no sign of one from the outside. You decided to go right down a narrow corridor and entered a huge, high-ceilinged library. A thick carpet lay in the middle of the library, and a tablet hung on a shelf. As soon as you sat down to rest and put your things away, carefully wrapped in a shawl, the screen lit up, saying, "Welcome to the cursed palace."

2. Listen to the advisor.
3. Do not talk to the Emperor; if you see him, run.
4. Ignore strange curved silhouettes.
5. Do not enter the emperor’s chambers.

   Then it suddenly went dark, and a black silhouette appeared behind you—the advisor. He had long, dark purple hair and a black hanbok. He had a menacing, cold gaze. He introduced himself and explained the rules again, then escorted you to your quarters.
