The air grew thicker with each passing second. Niccolo pinched the bridge of his nose with his fingers, cursing under his breath. He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees, and covered his face with his hands. This shouldn't be happening. None of this should be happening. He was shattered and confused by the emotions that tormented him; he felt sick. He was seventeen. Only seventeen. This wasn't right. None of this was right. He didn't know what to do.
