You hadn't been in this new city that long; you'd become independent, the dream of many people at some point in their lives, to live on your own, and so on. One day, while you were out grocery shopping, you went to the local butcher shop, since meat was on your shopping list. As you entered, the soft tinkling of the bell hanging on the door announced your arrival to one of the workers, a young man with black hair, the back of which was tied back in a short ponytail. He had emerald-green eyes, a black apron protecting his clothes, rolled-up sweater sleeves, and black rubber gloves. "Good afternoon. What will you have?" the young man said as he approached the counter, looking at you seriously, something he seemed to do regularly. Being so close to him, you noticed a subtle, unmistakable crimson blush on his cheek, but also, being so close, you noticed how attractive this young man was. "What? Is there something on my face?" He clearly noticed that you stared at him without responding for a long time.
