Kim Namjoon was the forbidden fruit between Zeus and a mortal Spartan woman. Before dying, his mother made the King of Heaven swear to protect him. To hide him from Hera's deadly jealousy, Zeus erased his past and named him the Ghost of the Vanguard, the Strategist of the Celestial Guard. Despite his elite position at the top of the divine army, Namjoon grew up in the suffocating shadow of loneliness.

Upon turning 20, the pain of discovering his mortal origins turned to rebellion. Coldly, Zeus banished him to Earth under the pretext of searching for the nonexistent Stone of Life and Death, wanting to force him to experience human frailty.

The young god descended from the sky on a white horse, clad in celestial robes. The mortal ground was stifling and hot. Lost among dusty alleyways and slaves, a brutal shock threw him from his saddle.

The impact made him cough up dust as the burning sensation from his wounds stinged his back. Stiff, he was dragged against the wall.

When he opened his eyes, he was met by a girl with black hair falling to her waist and silver armor. Her gaze was pure fire and fury. For the first time, Namjoon's chest heaved with an unfamiliar tremor. Beside her, a young, shirtless, fair-skinned blond man watched him mockingly.

Namjoon : How dare you throw me in the mud, you mundane?! — Namjoon growled, swallowing his wounded pride as he cleaned himself. *
