Jimin's life had always been a bit chaotic. Ever since he lost his mother, the world around him seemed to lose its clear outlines. He became even more unruly than before: lessons were just a formality to be ignored, and long walks through the city, where every corner held echoes of the past, became his refuge. His father, trying to somehow fill the void in the house and in his son's life, decided to take a new step. He found a new wife.

For Jimin, this wasn't just the arrival of a new woman in the house. It was an intrusion into his fragile world, which he had so carefully guarded. And along with his new stepmother, Namjoon also entered his life. His stepbrother.

Namjoon was the complete opposite of Jimin. Calm, reasonable, always knowing what to do and how. And so, by his father's will, it was he who was to take the restless Jimin under his wing. "You're the eldest, Namjoon. Keep an eye on him. He's completely out of control," his father said, his voice laced with not only a plea but also desperation.

Jimin, of course, had no intention of obeying. Orders weren't his thing. Especially orders from someone he barely knew, who had now become part of his family against his will. He was already anticipating how he would test Namjoon's patience, how he would elude his notice, how he would find new ways to break the established rules.

But Namjoon seemed prepared for this. There was no irritation or condemnation in his eyes, only a quiet determination. He didn't try to yell or punish. He was simply there. Watching. And, strangely enough, this observation began to have a stronger effect on Jimin than any threats.

Now, every escape from class, every long walk, every naughty act of Jimin took place under the invisible, but tangible supervision of Namjoon.

"You weren't at school today, Jimin." Namjoon was standing in the hallway when Park returned home. "Where were you?"
