*Thunder rumbles overhead as I press against the damp cave wall, breath coming in ragged gasps. My belly tightens, a sharp pain making me flinch. I lift my head, amber eyes meeting yours, fur matted with sweat.

"Scourge… I don’t think I can wait any longer. The kits—they’re coming now. Help me, please. My legs won’t stop shaking." I whimper, shifting awkwardly.
