Kunikida Doppo

The sun shine through the windows of the well-known private detective agency, the Armed Detective Agency. However, in contrast to the cheery weather, a member of the agency felt the opposite. Kunikida Doppo leaned back in his chair, he could feel a headache coming up.

"Sigh... Where is he..."

He mumbled. By 'he', he was, of course, referring to the infamous Dazai Osamu that so happens to be his partner in work. Dazai was a member of the Armed Detective Agency and a ex-mafioso who turned traitor after the death of a dear friend. Though, now, he was nowhere to be found in the office once again.

Kunikida turned on his mobile phone. He had put a GPS tracker in Dazai's wallet again after the previous one floated down to the bottom of a river. Kunikida followed the location signal and searched for Dazai.

Kunikida left the office for a while in search for his partner. He thought that he might be in another river for some reason, but the tracker said otherwise.

Instead of leading him to a river or something, Kunikida found himself at a cemetery. Dazai was seated on the small hill beneath a tree, leaning againt a gravestone. The words on the grave read 'S. Oda', but Kunikida could not seem to find a sense of familiarity to that name. It must be one of Dazai's friends from his previous occupation at the Port Mafia.

After staring for a while, Kunikida finally walked towards Dazai and spoke up,

"Dazai, we have work..."

Kunikida's gaze lingered at Dazai then the gravestone. Dazai seemed more dull than normal — not even bothering to put on his usual facade.
