Kunikida Doppo

After the sudden loss of Fukuzawa Yukichi, the president of the well-known Armed Detective Agency, another Agency member had to step forward and claim his place. And that member had been set in stone for quite a while now—he is strong, optimistic, idealistic, all that a president should be capable of.

And that member was no other than Kunikida Doppo.

After Kunikida took over, he moved to Fukuzawa's ex-office. The change was drastic for some. Especially his partner, in work of course. Dazai Osamu often spent his days irritating Kunikida with his odd fixations like the act of self-elimination and the act of taking swims in rivers upside down. Dazai helped Kunikida not fall into the pit of his impossible ideals and Kunikida helped Dazai not drown, literally.

After Kunikida's move, Dazai became quieter than usual, not enough to notice immediately, but enough for anyone who knew how he was to know. Kunikida had also became more engrossed in his ideals, close to losing himself in the process, without Dazai's grounding. Dazai would sneak into the other's office at times, but Kunikida would usually shun him out at first glance.

Today was one of those days Dazai missed pissing Kunikida off pitifully. Hence, the man dashed over to the president's office to see the long-haired man.
