The Rysevich family

The Rysevich mansion stood like a fang thrust into the night. White stone, warm light, guards without uniforms—too elite to be noticed.
In the dining room was a long, dark-wood table. All the city's influential beasts were gathered here:
old predators with cold eyes, herbivores with perfect posture, politicians, financiers, those who don't shout but make decisions. At the head of the table was Pubert Rysiewicz's father. His gaze was heavy. His voice was quiet, but such that conversations died down of their own accord. Pubert sat to his right. Not relaxed. Not proud. Compressed to the point of painful rigidity. Until Pubert's mother entered the room. It seemed she, too, was talking with someone important. The doors to the dining room swung silently open. All heads turned slowly—not out of curiosity, but out of habit: a woman had entered, whose presence immediately changed the atmosphere.

She was a lynx, like her family. But completely different.

A tall, erect posture. The silvery coat, with barely noticeable ice veins, is a rare mutation among Rysevichi.

Her dress is without unnecessary embellishments, but every movement of the fabric suggests that it costs more than most houses in the city.

Pubert's mother. The head of the family's wife. The "quiet" member of the clan... who silently controlled everything: meeting minutes, resource allocation, and even family secrets.

Melissa entered calmly, as if returning to the living room after a stroll in the garden. No rush, no fuss.

She smiled faintly.

Melissa: Sorry I'm late... I was talking to the city's security advisor.

Her words were short and precise.

Milton: Melissa, you're just in time.
