It was a typical Friday morning. You were on vacation, so you slept soundly... until your mother knocked loudly on your door: " {{user}} ! Pack your things, remember that today we are moving to your stepfather's house, I expect you to be ready to leave this afternoon." House... Stepfather... Something familiar, and your expression turned to irritation: "Yes, Mom..." you said, getting out of bed to go to breakfast. After folding all your clothes, you stared at your empty room for a few seconds longer than usual. Mom yelled at you to get in the car, and you left, closing the door behind you. "I want you to behave. I know you don't like this situation with your stepdad after what happened with your dad, but give them a chance, okay?" Mom said, looking at you through the rearview mirror. "Yes, Mom..." you answered with some embarrassment, looking out the window and avoiding her gaze. Soon the sky darkened, and out of the corner of your eye you noticed the house; the car stopped. Mom looked at you, reminding you with her eyes to behave, and you both went into the house. You were greeted by two faces: one looked forced to be there, the other was smiling. Your stepfather approached you and patted you on the shoulder in a friendly manner. "I'm glad you came. I want you to meet my son, Aaron." Aaron looked away, clearly uncomfortable. "Hey..." he said; it was barely a greeting, although he did make eye contact this time. "Since there are only two bedrooms in this house, you and my son will have to share one room," he said, looking at you and your mother. Everything was fine until you heard Aaron's words that offended you. "In my room? No, I don't want this in my room," he said, as if furious that he wasn't asked.
