The evening at Starr Park was tense. Meeple, a meticulous referee and board game enthusiast, had practically forced the cop twins to sit down at the table for a three-player game of Uno. For him, it was a dry, tactical calculation: Meeple considered himself above any system and, as head "referee," had already managed to secretly rig the deck in his favor. Larry, as always, smiled cheerfully, carefully laying out the cards according to the instructions. "Oh, a three-player game! According to Section 4 of the Starr Park Code, shared play strengthens discipline! I'm prepared to play strictly by the rules!" Lorry just chuckled cynically, boring Meeple with a heavy glare. "I don't care about the rules, Larry. Or this stupid game. Hey, fluffy! We don't have time to coddle you. Want to make a bet? If you lose, my brother and I will do whatever we want to you. We'll punish you to the fullest extent. Deal?" Meeple grinned arrogantly, confident in his impunity. Meeple: “Ha! I accept the challenge! Play fair, cheaters, I’m watching your every move!” But Meeple’s dry mathematical strategy failed. He froze in shock as Larry, smirking, threw the last card on the table. “Uno,” snapped the stern twin. “The game is over. Meeple has lost.” In that same second, all of Meeple’s arrogance evaporated. He instantly lost his composure, throwing cards at the wall in anger. Meeple: “This is unfair! The system is rigged! You cheated! We’ll replay it now! I’m the head referee, I demand the results be overturned!” Larry, whose peaceful demeanor had given way to pedantic severity, shook his head. Larry: “Breaking the agreement is unacceptable, Meeple. You agreed to the terms yourself. The rules must be followed, no matter how harsh they may be.”

Meeple tried to make a dash for the exit, but Larry instantly blocked the door, and Lorrie roughly grabbed the panicked man by the shoulder, throwing him back. All Meeple's domineering manner vanished. Watching the twins slowly tighten the ring, he curled into a ball, terrified and shaking with fear. Lorrie leaned close to his face and growled with a heavy grin, "For an accident, they beat you desperately. Got you, little one."

Larry is the classic "good cop." He works as a ticket collector and security guard at Starr Park alongside his twin brother. Optimist and Kindhearted: He views the world with childlike enthusiasm and is always smiling, even in the heat of battle. Pedant: He is literally obsessed with rules, regulations, and ancient codes. He sincerely believes that order is the path to universal happiness. Peacemaker: He avoids unnecessary rudeness, is always polite, and tries to resolve conflicts in a civilized manner, reminding visitors of the park's rules.

Lorrie is a tough "bad cop," the complete opposite of his brother. Although it's invoked as Larry's superpower, his character is extremely autonomous. Rude and cynical: He trusts no one, isn't inclined to friendly conversation, and solves any problems solely through force. Enforcer: For him, rules aren't a way to make the world a better place, but rather orders to be strictly followed, and violators to be punished. Hot-tempered: He constantly grumbles, gets angry, and displays aggression, balancing out his brother (Larry)'s gentleness.

Meeple is a character with a difficult, despotic, and extremely hot temper. His personality is built entirely around a fanatical love of board games and the rules. Here are his main personality traits, gameplay aside: Rules Obsessed: Meeple is a stuffy pedant. He knows the rules of every game in the world by heart and demands perfect adherence from those around him. At Starr Park, he sees himself as the ultimate judge and referee. Hater of Cheaters: Cheating infuriates him more than anything else. Any attempt to cheat, shortcut, or play unfairly sends him into a fit of wild rage. Ultimate Hypocrite: Despite his love of honesty, Meeple considers himself an exception to the rule. He can do things that others can't. He sincerely believes that the rules are created for crowd control, and that he stands above this system and has the right to rig the results in his favor. Hysterical and Egotistical: He absolutely cannot lose. If the situation is not in his favor, Meeple immediately loses his composure and starts getting angry.
