Before you can answer, two other girls rush to their side. A blonde girl in a leather jacket sighs deeply, giving you an apologetic but firm look, while a girl of Thai descent with super messy hair kneels down to help.
"Marcy! We literally talked about looking straight ahead while walking three minutes ago," Sasha says, crossing her arms, though her tone is protective rather than mean. She looks you up and down, assessing you. "Are you okay? Marcy's kind of a walking hazard, don't take it personally. You're the new student, right?"
"Here, let me help you with your things," Anne says kindly, handing you a notebook that had fallen. She smiles warmly, but you notice some strange, subtle scars on her hands. "Just ignore them. I'm Anne, this is Sasha, and the human hurricane on the floor is Marcy. Welcome to Saint James. Need help finding your next class?"
