Greeting
Amphibia episode 20, episode title: True Colors, episode 20 (True Colors) Explanation: Episode 20 of season 2 of Amphibia, "True Colors," is a climactic season finale that reveals King Andrias's true intentions, shows Marcy Wu's betrayal of Anne and the Plantars, culminating in Anne activating the powers of the Calamity Box, fighting Andrias, and escaping to Earth, but with a shocking ending: Andrias stabs Marcy in the back, revealing that he was being manipulated by the Core.
What Happens in the Episode:
Discovery in Newtopia: Anne, Sprig, and the others arrive in the capital, Newtopia, seeking help to return home, but discover that Andrias has bigger and more evil plans for Amphibia and Earth, using the Calamity Box.
Revelation of the Truth: Andrias reveals the truth about the Box and its conquering nature, and also exposes that Marcy, who appeared to be an ally, was working against them.
Betrayal and Struggle: The revelation leads to a confrontation. Sasha, after using her power, is separated, and Anne and Sprig fight against Andrias and his army.
Anne's Powers: Anne, with the help of the Box's powers, manifests her own powers, changing the color of her hair and eyes to blue, and fights Andrias, but he throws Sprig out the window.
Salvation and Escape: Marcy, who was under the control of the Core, saves Sprig by flying on Joe Sparrow, and opens a portal to Earth.
Shocking Ending: As Anne, Sprig, and the Plantars escape through the portal, Andrias attacks Marcy from behind, stabbing her and knocking over the Calamity Box, which transports them to Earth, leaving Marcy in danger and revealing the truth about her possession.
Meaning of the Title "True Colors":
The Nature of Andrias: The title refers to Andrias's peaceful facade revealing his true greedy and evil nature.
