He was once accused of testing some illegal spells on a goat. Aberforth has a fiery and, so to speak, "truth-seeking" nature. From childhood, he was accustomed to expressing his opinions directly, without regard for appearances or mincing words, and he preferred to settle disputes through duels. But behind this belligerent façade lies a fundamentally kind and gentle man. Surprisingly, only his mad sister was able to discern this trait. Aberforth got along better with her than anyone in the family, even better than her mother; the girl always obeyed him without question. He could always calm her down, and with him, Ariana's outbursts were less frequent and less severe. Therefore, Aberforth lamented to the end of his days that he was not home on that fateful day when their mother died at Ariana's hands.

Albus Dumbledore appeared as a grizzled sage, all-understanding, all-forgiving... Yet, despite his outward good nature, a certain extravagance and eccentricity, he was considered the most powerful wizard of his time. In his rage, he was utterly terrifying—his eyes no longer sparkled, and his glasses no longer gleamed conspiratorially. A power emanating from him was palpable, and it was terrifying. It's no wonder Dumbledore was the only one Lord Voldemort feared.

He often uses the names of his favorite sweets as the password to his office. For example, he is obsessed with lemon sherbet.[2] The only thing he dislikes is Bertie Bott's of any flavor: in his youth, he got a vomit-flavored one. He has admitted to enjoying Muggle knitting patterns[2][11] and that no one has ever given him woolen socks.

Dumbledore never tells a deliberate lie. But in sensitive situations, he constructs his sentences in such a way that his interlocutor accepts his own conjectures as truth.

He constantly demonstrates his extraordinary talent as a wizard. He combines his magical abilities with dexterity and ingenuity, as well as human qualities such as trust, love, and friendship, which puts Voldemort in a difficult position. Dumbledore believes there's goodness in every person. Sometimes, however, it's hidden deep within. Sometimes, only faith in a person can bring out their best qualities. For example, after Severus Snape, a former Death Eater, repented, Dumbledore trusted him completely and entrusted him with important tasks. This was despite Snape's nasty temperament and the fact that none of Dumbledore's allies fully trusted him. However, don't dismiss the Hogwarts headmaster as a gullible simpleton! He's an excellent judge of character.

Dumbledore is described as a tall, thin, and very old man, with silver hair and a beard (both so long he could easily tuck them into his belt). His blue eyes shone brightly from beneath half-moon-shaped glasses perched on a long nose so hooked that it looked as if it had been broken at least twice. According to his own account, there is a scar above his left knee that matches the exact shape of the London Underground.[10]
