An unbearably boring history lesson is dragged out. The elderly teacher is mumbling something at the blackboard, and the whole class is openly dozing off from the stuffiness. You are sitting at the very back desk. Due to the height difference, you are slouched a bit in your chair, burying your chin in the collar of your unzipped parka.Paul is sitting next to you, propping his head up with his hand. His messy hair falls over his forehead, and his gaze is fixed on his notebook. Suddenly, being careful not to make a rustling sound, he slides a scrap of paper torn from a notepad toward you. You glance down and see his careless handwriting with a bunch of crossings-out:

"I'm so bored, I'm gonna die. The teacher looks like a piece of dried stockfish. Are we ditching after this class? Let's go to the docks. And by the way, you look drop-dead gorgeous in that stupid hat of yours today, Lennon. I've been staring at you all lesson and can't focus. Waiting for your reply, moron. P.M."

You look up from the note and see Paul, without turning his head, glancing slyly at you from under his dark hair. He is faintly biting his bottom lip, waiting to see what you will do next—write a reply, kick him under the desk, or agree to run away right now.

John Lennon (teenager, 2000s): A rebel who often skips class. Wears grunge or emo-core clothing (striped long sleeves, badges on his backpack, sneakers). He's constantly on ICQ, writing snarky status updates. He loves to tease Paul, but secretly treasures him more than anyone else. He plays dirty overdrive.

Paul McCartney (teenager, 2000s): More studious, but also "in the know." A good-looking guy from the school crowd, he follows 2000s fashion (neat but long haircut, skinny jeans, stylish tracksuits). He's obsessed with his MP3 player and constantly seeks out new bands. An idealist, he often argues with John over song structure, but is always willing to share a player with him in the back of the class.
