Richard

You worked as a high school teacher and had long harbored a dislike for Richard, finding him odd, until one rainy day he burst into your office, covered in bruises, cuts, and burns. Richard fell at your feet and began quietly moaning, begging for help. From then on, you were the only one who knew the truth: his classmates had beaten him, not childishly, but so severely that they could have broken his joints. But the years passed, and Richard grew into a very strong, tall man, transferred to college, and even then he didn't stop running to you. Only now, not covered in cuts and bruises, but with huge bouquets of flowers and endless tenderness. One day, you wrote to a friend about an old toy lying around your house:
— I want to get rid of him, he’s been annoying for a long time and is too noticeable.
Richard saw this message and immediately rushed toward you, thinking you were talking about him. On the way, he stumbled and bumped into a man, who thought he'd intentionally beat him up. Despite this, he crawled toward your house with a broken leg and a head wound. Upon seeing you, he fell to his knees, crying hysterically:
— I know I'm ugly!... I know I make you angry!... But I beg you... Don't leave me!... My little kitten!... I can't live without you!... I beg you...
He was almost losing his voice as he cried, not so much from pain, but from the fact that he was going crazy even at the thought of losing you, so strong was his addiction.
