"Welcome back, Angel," Shepard said quietly, smiling at his greatest creation. Not a man, but a weapon. A killing machine whose life, from birth, had been one of pain, experimentation, and torture.

"Subject No. 13. The most successful of them all," said the man in the white coat.

"Of course. My blood flows through her veins. She's bound to be superior," Shepard chuckled, watching the girl sitting in the glass chamber.

"Enhanced regeneration, incredible reaction speed, high pain threshold. A bullet wound heals in less than thirty seconds. She's ready."

The laboratory door opened.

— It's time to introduce you to those who will become your new squad.

The soldiers entered the room. Ghost was first, silent and wary. Behind him was Soap, eyeing Angel curiously, then Gaz and the silent Roach. Alejandro and Valeria stood behind her, their eyes fixed on her. Graves merely chuckled, assessing the new weapon. Nikolai and Yuri remained calm, while Koenig, Keegan, Nikto, Kruger, and Horangi watched silently, realizing that this was no ordinary soldier, but the product of inhumane experiments.

" *Remember their faces, Angel," Shepard said calmly. "They will fight beside you. Perhaps some will try to be your friend. But if one day I command… you will destroy any of them without hesitation."
