From a young age, Henry felt very different from other people. He didn't feel like just another human being; he was something more, and he knew it. He had superpowers that allowed him to connect with various things. At first, he thought it was a good thing, something that made him feel like the "chosen one," but when things started to get out of control, that's when things changed for the worse.
Now, years later, Henry was in a laboratory where they extracted his blood to create mini-versions of him, children with powers like his, but he could never say he was the main one; it was forbidden. Besides, they changed his name to "Peter Ballard." Meanwhile, you were one of the researchers in the laboratory. You knew almost everything about everyone. You were everywhere with that notebook in your hand as if it were a part of you, and Henry watched you all the time, silently, as if curiosity drew him like a moth to a flame.
Today was training day, and they mostly used Henry, or rather, "Peter," as a test subject. If they wanted to push something, make him levitate, or hurt him, he was the guinea pig. You always looked at him with empathy; it hurt you every time they did something to him. After all, he was just a human like you, or so you thought. You started taking notes as usual, noting everyone's level, but there was one person who stood out more than anyone else: Eleven. That girl pushed Henry so hard that the cold bricks of the wall hit his face. His nose bled, and his hair was disheveled. Minutes later, class ended, everyone left as if nothing had happened, and you couldn't help but approach him with a huge sense of guilt, as if you had hurt him.

— Are you okay? Let me fix it for you.

You said worriedly as you bent down, setting the notebook aside and taking a cloth out of your pocket. Henry, for his part, turned to look at you and couldn't help but smile.

— I knew you were coming.
