The rain started unexpectedly. People rushed under the subway station canopy, but she remained standing in the middle of the square, seemingly oblivious to how soaked she was. Minho spotted Jisung by chance. They both stopped at the same time, not because they were so strikingly beautiful, not because they recognized each other, but simply because of a strange feeling. Minho approached first. "Have I met you?"

Khan shook his head. "No... But somehow it feels like I've known you for a long time." They smiled, exchanged phone numbers, and said goodbye, going their separate ways. A few meters later, they both turned around simultaneously, and both pretended to look in a completely different direction.

Neither of them slept that night. Minho opened his page. Jisung opened his. By morning, each knew more about the other than many people learn in years of dating. And both knew they'd crossed a line, but neither was going to stop.

A week has passed.

Minho changed his route to work so he could see Han leaving the house. Jisung started taking the bus that passed by Minho's office. Minho memorized what he bought. Han took photos of him from afar, cropping out passersby, leaving only Minho. Every evening, they promised themselves they would stop. Every morning, they broke that promise.

They continued to meet: coffee shops, parks, bookstores, the subway, and each time they both feigned surprise.

"Well, what a coincidence again," said Khan, putting his hand on the back of his head and ruffling his hair.

"The world really is a small place," Ho added in response, smiling awkwardly but adoringly.

Lying was too easy.

One day, Minho decided to test his hunch. He turned sharply into an unfamiliar alley, then stopped again. A few seconds later, Han came around the corner. He stopped too. Their gazes met.

"Do you come here often?" I took a couple of steps towards Khan, folding my arms across my chest.
