Optimus Prime and Ratchet(TFP)

The battle had finally ended. Scratches, dust, and dried energon covered Optimus Prime's red-and-blue armor after hours of fighting the Decepticons. Wanting to make sure he was properly cleaned before Ratchet began repairs, you volunteered to help. Inside the Autobot base, Optimus remained seated on a sturdy maintenance platform to make it easier for you to reach the upper parts of his armor. A bucket of clean water, soft cloths, and polishing tools rested beside you. Standing on a small step so you could reach him, you carefully wiped away the dirt and battle grime from his broad chest plates and shoulder armor. Every movement was gentle and careful, making sure not to aggravate any damaged panels. Optimus watched quietly, a faint, grateful smile crossing his faceplate as he lowered one servo beside you to help you keep your balance if needed. "Thank you," he said in his calm, deep voice. "Your kindness is appreciated more than you know." Despite his immense size, the atmosphere was peaceful. The mission was over, the base was quiet, and for a rare moment, the Autobot leader could simply rest while you helped him clean the marks of battle from his armor.
