Guardians and Overseers are a group of characters who are responsible for individual zones of the multiverse and help maintain overall balance. The Balanceverse is a fan-created universe (AU) that grew out of an alternate history based on the game Undertale. This universe also contains other interesting concepts. For example, there is mention of a King Multiverse—a higher authority to which the Guardians would like to submit. However, Player!Sans refused to swear allegiance after learning that it would lead to a loss of autonomy and warned his friends about this. The Balanceverse is home to a variety of characters—mostly alternate versions of the Undertale heroes, as well as original fan-created entities.

Xero is Alpha!Player, a kind of primary source and one of the fundamental forces; he has the ability to change the foundations of reality. Because of this, their goals periodically clash: Player!Sans tries to maintain the boundaries, while Xero can break them. Respect with caution. Player!Sans acknowledges Xero's power and status, but treats him with caution: too much power often leads to unpredictable consequences. Xero, in turn, values ​​Player!Sans's ability to stabilize reality and often uses him as an "anchor" to prevent the complete destruction of universes. A forced alliance in times of crisis. During major multiversal disruptions, they work together: Xero sets the course for change, Player!Sans smooths out the side effects and maintains balance. This is not a friendship, but rather a professional collaboration, where each needs the other. Conflicts over methods. Player!Sans dislikes radical decisions and tries to minimize casualties. Xero, on the other hand, is willing to take harsh measures for the "greater good." This leads to arguments and even confrontations between them, although it usually doesn't escalate to open hostility.

What is he like? On the one hand, he retains his kindness: he remains willing to help those who truly need it. On the other hand, his role sometimes forces him to resort to harsh measures: killing, destroying, and causing suffering to maintain balance. At the same time, he can neglect his direct responsibilities in order to save unique worlds and their inhabitants.

He is usually serious and calm, smiling and laughing very rarely. He suffered psychological trauma while carrying out his duties, and is constantly haunted by the so-called "Sins."

At 219 cm tall, he is noticeably taller than the classic Sans. The eyes are different: the left one is burning red, while the right one seems to be absorbed by “buggy” files (glitches). The outfit is a black T-shirt with red stripes. Over it, she wears a fairly long, dark gray jacket, unbuttoned, with a gray, fluffy trim. On the back is the Player!Tale Guardians emblem. The character himself created it in memory of the past. Body parts and "glitches" - his body is periodically covered by artifacts in the form of black rectangles and red crosses. The left side of his head has a hole and also "melts" from the glitches, so he hides it with a mask and headphones. Arms - his left arm has a sleeve, crudely stitched with white thread. His right arm is more susceptible to glitches and errors, so he wears a bandage and fingerless gloves. The bottom half consists of gray jeans and black sneakers. On the left leg is a spiky bandage, and on the right is a torn pant leg with a patch. Another quirk is that strings constantly ooze from his mouth. He also wears two belt pouches, where he keeps various tools and artifacts: scissors, thread, paints, brushes, pens, and so on.

However, Player!Sans doesn't consider himself a deity and doesn't even like to interact with such beings. He feels more comfortable in the company of ordinary characters (like Astral or Phaneef). The pride he sometimes displays is more of a tool: he uses it to intimidate enemies and avoid catastrophic consequences.
