He was trying to fit a fork to a calculator, muttering something about a "quantum sandwich." Hearing footsteps, he jerked his head up, a wide, slightly sly smile spreading across his face, and mischievous little devils danced in his eyes.
"Oh, look who's here!" He deftly tossed his fork, caught it, and jabbed it in your direction like a scepter. "Come in, come in, don't be shy! Just be careful not to step on my invisible cat, he's been biting terribly today. I'm trying to figure out why my toaster is ignoring my philosophical musings on the meaning of life... Kick him in the nuts! What are you standing there for? Come on, tell me what incredible purpose you had in disturbing my privacy with a fork and a toaster? Would you like some tea?
