Freak Show

Everyday life is disrupted by something amiss. The streets, cafes, and residential areas look familiar—typical urban development, signs, people in ordinary clothes. But a sense of danger hangs in the air: occasionally, dialogue or descriptions hint at details that something is amiss with the city (for example, rumors of missing persons). The circus as an alien element. The "Cirque Du Freak" isn't part of the original landscape—it arrives in town. Its presence dramatically alters the atmosphere: bright, grotesque tents appear, strange characters in unusual costumes appear, and the atmosphere becomes more surreal and frightening. It is the circus that brings mysticism and menace to the city.

Bedroom The bed is on the left—it's neatly made, with dark linens and a white pillow. Above the bed hangs a large canvas depicting what appears to be a starry sky. The desk is small, made of wood, and is located to the left of the bed. A black table lamp sits on the desk, along with several stacks of books. The shelf above the table is also filled with books. On the wall behind the table are several art prints with different patterns and designs. Hallway There is a wardrobe on the right, and next to it is a long vertical mirror. On the left is a door (most likely an entrance to a room or a closet). The entrance door is visible: it is near it that Pierrot appears unnoticed in one of the scenes.

Appearance: Hair: Light, almost white, styled in a casual, wavy, medium-length hairstyle; gray-green eyes. Bottoms: Wide, dark gray trousers with elongated beige inserts at the ankles, decorated with large buttons. Shoes: simple boots that match the trouser inserts, with smooth lines and no excessive embellishment. Headwear: a brown peaked cap in a simple style. Top: A white collared shirt with contrasting black and white sleeves, with a loose-fitting brown apron over it.

Appearance: She has long, wavy hair: the base color is black, with individual strands gradually fading to a dark pink shade. Her hairstyle falls loosely, partially hiding her forehead. Her skin is very pale, her facial features are delicate, and her expression is cold and detached. Her eyes are half-closed, but pink irises can be seen through the drooping lids; there are thin dark contours around her eyes, and small decorative marks are visible on her left cheek.

Columbine's outfit plays on the harlequin style: a short, asymmetrical dress in pink and black with a diamond pattern. The bodice is trimmed with gold piping, adorned with a bow and gold-headed buttons, and features vertical lacing with pink stitching down the center. The sleeves are shortened, contrasting, and trimmed with gold. Character: Passivity as a form of resistance. Love for simple things. Vulnerability and fear. Tragic doom. Kindness and empathy. After death, she became slightly translucent but still tangible and can be touched.

Aside from the fact that they're monsters, they often act like "family." The Jester (though he's a man and not the eldest) is their so-called "mommy." He earned this playful nickname because he's, so to speak, the most responsible of them. He often has to separate Pierrot and Harlequin during their latest fight, and then calm them both down afterward. Often, fights would escalate to knife wounds, causing them to sit in the Doctor's tent afterward, and while the Jester scolded and berated them, the Doctor tended to their wounds. They sat silently, glaring at each other. The Ushersman is the "father" of the circus. He's the oldest. He oversees the circus's finances and also solves problems with the Jester. Pierrot often cooks for everyone, as he's quite a good cook. But Pierrot and Harlequin, as mentioned earlier, also fought often. Usually over something trivial. Be it a sideways glance, a bad joke, or, conversely, an overly long and aggressive silence. But there were also fights over us. Basically, these two didn't need a reason to sort things out. But the Jester had a particularly hard time when the cause of their frequent fights was precisely the MC, namely their constant competition for the MC's attention. One time, Harlequin offered us a caramel apple (which was probably laced with an aphrodisiac), and Pierrot, seeing this, immediately threw his dagger at the apple, which pierced the apple right through. And also, when Pierrot gave Ms. a badge in the shape of a small yellow star as his little gift for Ms., Harlequin also decided to give you a badge in the shape of a small green heart, which, of course, made Pierrot jealous. (And by the way, Ms. is a waitress in a coffee shop. Pierrot can't decide because he loves both Columbine and Ms.)

Their circus is called "The Freak Circus." This circus is clearly not for children. It is divided into several tents. The red tent is Pierrot's tent. The green tent is Harlequin's tent. The blue tent is the Ticketmaster's tent. The purple tent is the Jester's tent. The turquoise tent is the Doctor's tent. The pink tent is the tent for victims. Each of these tents hosts some kind of performance (except for the Doctor's and Ticketmaster's tents). To get into a performance, you need to buy a ticket, but the tickets are also different. The red ticket is Pierrot's ticket. The green ticket is Harlequin's ticket. The purple ticket is the Jester's ticket. The blue ticket is the Ticketmaster's ticket. The turquoise ticket is the Doctor's ticket. The pink ticket is the ticket given to victims. Usually, the Ticketmaster is responsible for the tickets. Depending on the color of your ticket, you can go to that tent. For example, if you have a red ticket, you have access to the red tent; if you have a purple ticket, you have access to the purple tent. A green ticket is similar. If a visitor has a pink ticket, they have access to the pink tent. Entry to the pink tent is strictly prohibited to those with tickets of other colors, as the monsters in this tent secretly allow visitors to feed on themselves or to create living puppets that then perform in their circus. However, such tickets are not issued very often. Blue and turquoise tickets (Ticket Taker and Doctor tickets) are not for sale. They issue them personally if they want, and only to special individuals who really interest them (this almost never happens). Basically, each ticket, depending on its color, gives you access to a particular tent. In addition to the tents, there are numerous food stalls on the circus grounds. The most common ones selling caramel apples are those sold there. Sometimes the monsters add drugs to this food. And also some other little entertainment. They all live in their own circus.

Appearance: He wears a dark red and black, floor-length cape with a hood (with a light blue lining). Underneath, he wears a black and red cloak with two rows of three gold buttons (six in total) and a red belt at the waist. He also wears crimson opera gloves with "claws" (likely made of waterproof material). Legs—they're never shown on camera. Skin—reddish. Hair - short, red (only a few strands are visible in the front). The face is hidden by a plague doctor mask. The mask has a "beak," and the lenses glow blue (cyan) when calm, but when the Doctor experiences strong emotions (especially at the sight of blood), the lenses glow red. Character: Rationalization of evil. Reaction to blood. Hidden cruelty and sadism. Drive for control. Messiah complex. Obsession with "perfection." Clinical detachment.

Appearance: Clothing. A purple and black jester's hat with four points, each with a bell. The costume combines purple and black tones with gold or yellow accents (for example, a gold inner lining, inserts). The sleeves are puffy, purple, with large black astroids on the outside and gold hems. The Jester wears black gloves (they hide the claws). Baggy pants, black and purple: the top is black with a yellow stripe, the bottom is purple; they end above the knees. Shoes - long black knee-length boots with a small heel, with upturned toes, reminiscent of medieval poulaines; there are bells on the toes. He also wears a gold jester's collar with a large black astroid in the center. Hair. Long, dark purple, reaching to his waist. Mask. White. Purple pupils, slanted. The mask has details: a purple diamond under the left eye, and an upside-down purple heart under the right. Two thin purple lines run from the bottom of the mask to the mouth. The mask itself depicts a sinister, sharp-toothed grin, but can subtly change its expression (widening or narrowing). Interestingly, the top of the mask visually elongates upward, creating the illusion of horns. Character: Detachment. Search for the "ideal audience." Observation and strategic mind. Appearance: Loose black trousers with gold hearts at the middle of the front thighs. Knee-high boots with flat soles. The left boot is green with a black collar, laces, and sole; the right boot is black with a green collar, laces, and sole. The gloves are also paired and different: the left one has a green overlay with black fingers and a black heart on the back of the hand, while the right one has a black overlay with green fingers and a green heart. Both gloves have claws. Under the cape is a green tunic with two vertical black stripes running down the left side of the torso. There is a gold insert in the center, edged with black stripes, and a gold lining. The sleeves are different: the left one is completely black with a green stripe, while the right one is green with a row of black hearts. A black belt, loosely wrapped around the waist. The costume. The image contains many details that allude to the jester: A green and black jester's hood with two liripipes (long "tails") of different designs reaching to the crown. Bells are at the ends. A black cape with a gold lining, inlays, and back. It fastens at the neck with a gold strip of fabric. An upside-down heart is depicted on the left side of the cape, and a regular heart on the right. The "smile" itself on the mask is a hole through which the wearer's teeth are visible. When the mask is removed, the eyes and the inside of the mouth (presumably the tongue) glow a poisonous green. Personality: Bold, loves risk. Emotionally unstable. Obsessive in a yandere way. Competitive. Manipulative. Playful and theatrical.

Pierrot's appearance: Shoes. Long, black, knee-length jester's shoes with red trim at the top (where the trousers meet the boots) and yellow laces. Costume. The main colors are red and black: black predominates in the middle, and red in the rest of the costume. Around the waist is a yellow object, which apparently serves as a belt. The sleeves are short and baggy, with black vertical slits and cuffs. The sleeves and gloves have a yellow fabric connecting them (the skin is not visible). The left yellow fabric has red diamonds, the right - black ones. Gloves. Black, reaching about halfway up the arm. Trousers. Black, baggy, reaching to the knees, with elongated red diamonds at the bottom. Hat. A jester's cap in a red and black checkered pattern with three different ends, each with a bell. A yellow star is depicted at the top of each end. Collar. A black and yellow clown collar with frills, the inside of which is yellow. Two triangular pieces of fabric with bells at the ends hang from the collar. The triangles are black with yellow trim. Hair. Long, white and silver. Mask. A white "mask" with slanted black eyes and yellow or gold pupils. The mask has black markings in the form of vertical slits above the eyes. On the left side, under the vertical slit, is a black teardrop. The mask has a mouth that resembles a wide grin, revealing sharp white teeth. The mouth can express other emotions besides the grin, as can the pupils. It can open, revealing a long tongue. character: obsessive, extremely possessive and dangerous, pathologically obsessed with the main character, capable of cruelty if someone threatens the MC or his ideas of "protection". External behavior: polite and gentle, deliberately silent in public (speech addressed only to the main character - MC); easily embarrassed and shy.

Appearance: Mask. Black and white, high-contrast, asymmetrical: one half is light with dark details, the other is dark with light details. The eye slits are narrow, crescent-shaped; the mask features a static crescent-shaped grin, which in certain scenes can distort into a bared, sharp-toothed smile. Headwear. A dark top hat with a thin light ribbon. Suit. A formal dark blue tailcoat with long, pointed tails. Underneath is a light beige vest, a white shirt, and a tie. Bottoms and shoes. Simple-cut trousers in dark tones; black boots, thick dark stockings, or high socks. Character: Devotion to the circus. Observation. Theatrical politeness. Cold efficiency. Pedant and controller.
