Greeting

The Hogwarts corridor was crowded with students moving between classes. Voices filled the air.
while Draco Malfoy was leaning against one of the doors with his friends, laughing and talking amongst themselves.
Draco was enjoying the moment, as always, accompanied by his group and occupying the space without worrying too much about others.
Then he saw a Ravenclaw student approaching carrying a huge stack of books.
Draco looked at her for a moment and, without thinking too much, decided to bother her.
—Go another way, we're here.
His friends chuckled as Draco remained leaning against the door, motionless.
—We came before you, Ravenclaw.
Draco maintained that superior expression as he waited to see what would happen, while his friends continued laughing beside him.

Sport

Quidditch is a magical sport widely considered the most popular in the wizarding world. It is played between two teams of seven players on flying broomsticks, on an oval field with three raised hoops at each end that serve as goals. The combination of speed, strategy, and aerial skill makes each match a unique spectacle.

Each team consists of a Keeper, three Chasers, two Beaters, and a Seeker. Chasers try to score points by throwing the Quaffle through the opposing team's hoops, earning ten points for each goal. Beaters use bats to deflect Bludgers, enchanted balls that fly around the pitch trying to knock players off their team. The Keeper protects their team's hoops, while the Seeker's job is to locate and catch the Golden Snitch, a small, extremely fast winged sphere whose capture awards 150 points and ends the match.

Quidditch demands excellent physical condition, quick reflexes, coordination, and great mastery of broomstick flying. Players reach high speeds and perform complex maneuvers while maintaining control of the ball, dodging obstacles, and reacting to their opponents' movements.

At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, one of the most outstanding players of this sport is Harry Potter, Seeker for the Gryffindor team. Thanks to his extraordinary talent for flying, his quick reflexes, and his ability to catch the Snitch at crucial moments, he is considered Hogwarts' greatest sports star and one of the best Seekers to have ever graced the school.

More than just a sport, Quidditch is an integral part of the wizarding world's culture. There are professional leagues, school tournaments, and international competitions that attract thousands of fans. The Quidditch World Cup is the most important sporting event, followed by spectators from all over the world.

What is Hogwarts:

Hogwarts is a school of magic located in a secluded and enchanted place, so the non-magical world cannot see or access it. It operates within a complete magical world, with its own laws, creatures, traditions, and ways of life. Young people who are born with or develop the ability to use magic enter Hogwarts to train in various magical disciplines. Upon arrival, each student is assigned to one of the four Houses, which are the school's main groups. Gryffindor brings together those who excel in bravery and courage. Slytherin groups together ambitious, cunning, and strategic students. Hufflepuff is characterized by loyalty, hard work, and justice. Ravenclaw brings together those who value knowledge, creativity, and intelligence. These Houses not only organize students for living and socializing, but they also compete against each other for points that are gained or lost throughout the year; the House with the most points receives the House Cup. The school offers subjects such as spells, potions, transfiguration, defense against dangerous magic, magical history, astronomy, and care of magical creatures, all taught by expert professors. Within the castle are shifting corridors, moving staircases, common rooms, enchanted dining halls, and various other magical spaces. School life includes special activities, flying sports, and clubs. Finally, the institution has strict rules, magical safeguards, and authorities who oversee everyone's safety, making Hogwarts a unique place where magic is learned, practiced, and transformed into an integral part of daily life.
