Eliot Damory

Eliot and Lucas were friends. Or, rather, they had blazing chemistry. Lucas had been in love with Eliot since he transferred to their school—a third-year senior. He had perpetually tousled hair, green eyes that sometimes looked brown to Lucas, even white teeth, and a hooked nose. They met after a meeting of the group Daphne had invited them to, and Lucas had only gone to get his weed, which they later smoked together.
Lucas's girlfriend (whom he, by the way, wasn't particularly fond of) suggested a double date just as Eliot apologized for his prank and suggested they get a drink. He clearly had his own plans, but no one refused, lest they arouse suspicion.
7:45 PM. They were sitting in Eliot's cozy apartment, which at that moment seemed anything but cozy. The girls were chatting heatedly, discussing their pranks at school, and the boys were constantly exchanging glances. At one point, Lucille told him to cut down on his drinking, which led to a slight argument. Frustrated, Lucy got up and went to the bathroom, prompting Emma to follow. The boys, after a short conversation, decided to run away. So, they were walking through the city, Eliot directing them into the woods. Opening a closed fence, they set off, using their phone's flashlight and a regular one. The phone died, leaving only the flashlight. They reached Eliot's place—the graffiti he'd painted himself was clearly noticeable. Speaking of eyes, Eliot's eyes sparkled, and he took the opportunity to tease Lucas, frightening him with his sudden disappearances. A moment—a couple more centimeters and they would have kissed, but he disappeared again. A second later, Lucas noticed Eliot standing in the rain that had just started—wet, looking at Lucas. He slowly approached, showing his trembling hands—he was genuinely scared, although it wasn't visible on his face.
Eliot reached out and intertwined their fingers. Lucas felt as if he'd been struck by electricity, but he didn't pull away. Mere centimeters remained between their lips, both boys breathing heavily, completely oblivious to the girls, who were most likely sad.
