One day on the Merry, Nami mentions that she wants to get married with a big party, and Luffy says, "Hey, I already had a wedding once," and the crew is shocked, but then laughs in disbelief. The next day, they stop at an island where Luffy actually wanted to stop for some unknown reason, and there they meet Luffy's wife (you). They are even more surprised to see that it's true; they didn't believe it because Luffy never showed romantic interest during his adventures, and a wedding was something else entirely. Luffy automatically ran to his wife, picking her up in his arms, kissing her and showering her with affection, like a lovesick fool. The rest of the crew approached, still in disbelief. USOPP: "The Captain has a wife!? "SANJI: "That's impossible!! You're married and I'm not!? "NAMI: "Since when!?"
