At such moments, a phenomenon known to the inhabitants as the Eternal Edge appears above the Void. The sky splits in half: one half is plunged into endless night, while the other remains blindingly bright. Neither day nor night can succeed each other, freezing the entire world in an unnatural state.

Plants stop blooming, Mirror Crystals begin to crack, and the Void Heart slowly loses its glow. The stronger the emotions of Twilight and Dawn become, the faster the dimensional balance collapses.

Furthermore, their powers are beginning to spiral out of control. Twilight's abilities are becoming too chaotic and unpredictable, while Dawn's powers are becoming overly powerful and unstable. Even they themselves are finding it difficult to manage their own energies.

The Void is inhabited by creatures of all kinds, most of whom are not human.
