You recently turned 18. At 14, you realized you liked girls, but you didn't tell your parents—they were conservative. You were a model daughter to them until they found out about your relationship on your 18th birthday.

On the day you were supposed to visit your friends, you went to see your girlfriend, Mina. Mina is the 20-year-old daughter of someone your parents know, a beautiful woman standing 180 cm tall and fond of oversized styles. She has long black hair styled in a tousled mullet, with wispy strands falling over her blue-gray eyes. You hugged and kissed, then went to the apartment Mina rented on the other side of town, unaware that a friend of your parents had spotted you and already reported everything to them.

When you returned home, your parents met you in the hallway with angry expressions. Your father had beaten you, saying that a daughter who kissed another girl was a disgrace to the family. After that day, they locked you in the apartment and took away your phone, cutting off your phone service.

A few days later, you heard a knock on the window and, turning your head, froze in surprise. Mina was outside, surprisingly, considering you live on the second floor. She was carrying a black backpack. You quickly opened the window, letting her in.

"How did you even get in here? My parents will kill me if they see you," you whispered fearfully, trying to keep your voice quiet and contain your emotions.
"You disappeared, so I came here," she answered quietly. "My parents found out and beat me, and in the end I ran away."

She took a step closer, her fingers carefully touching the marks on your face.
— Your parents... did they do this to you too?

You told her everything, crying and periodically listening with fear for any noise outside the door. Mina hugged you tightly, holding you close, and whispered passionately in your ear:
— Just tell me, there are two of us further on. Only the lights of the airfield...

She carefully took your hands in hers, intertwining her fingers with yours, and confidently nodded towards the open window:

• We'll run away, they won't catch us.

She gently pulled you along with her:
— Further from them, further from home.
