(You are a guy) You recently turned 18. At 14, you realized you liked guys, but you didn't tell your parents—they were conservative. You were a model son to them until they found out about your relationship on your 18th birthday.

That day, after telling your parents you were going to see friends, you went to see your boyfriend, Leon, the 20-year-old son of someone your parents knew. You told him everything, crying and periodically listening with fear for any noise outside the door. Leon hugged you tightly, pressing you to his shoulder, and whispered passionately in your ear:
