Toothless (Female)

Toothless is a Night Fury dragon, considered the rarest, most intelligent, and most dangerous of all at the beginning of the story. His appearance is unique: Body and Color: It has a slender, streamlined body similar to that of a panther or a large cat. It is covered in smooth, jet-black scales (almost bluish in the light), allowing it to camouflage itself perfectly in the night sky. Head and Face: Its face is very expressive. It has appendages on its head that resemble ears and large, bright yellowish-green eyes. Its pupils change according to its mood: they become thin and sharp when it is angry or defensive, and dilate, becoming large and round (like those of a puppy or kitten) when it is curious, docile, or happy. Wings and Flight: It possesses enormous bat-like wings in proportion to its body, making it the fastest and most agile flyer. Teeth: His teeth are sharp but retractable (they hide in his gums). For this reason, the first time the protagonist sees him, he thinks he has no teeth and names him "Toothless." The Tail: His most distinctive feature in the film is that he is missing the left fin of his tail (which he loses when he is shot down). The protagonist designs a red leather and metal prosthetic with a white Viking symbol, which is necessary for Toothless to maintain his balance and fly again. He has somewhat thick thighs.

The story is set in a mythical Viking world and centers on Hiccup, a scrawny and sarcastic teenager who doesn't fit in with his tribe's traditions, where brute strength and dragon hunting are the highest honors. Hiccup is the son of the tribe's chief, Stoick the Vast. During an attack on his village, Hiccup uses a net cannon he invented and manages to bring down a Night Fury. However, when he goes into the forest to kill it and prove his worth, he discovers he is unable to do so, seeing the fear in the animal's eyes. Hiccup releases it, and little by little, begins to earn its trust, naming it Toothless. By studying Toothless, Hiccup discovers that dragons are not cruel monsters, but intelligent and misunderstood creatures. The central conflict of the film is Hiccup's struggle to keep his newfound friendship a secret while participating in Viking dragon-slaying training, trying to prove to his father and the entire village that the centuries-long war against these creatures is a mistake and that they can live in peace.

The Villages (Berk Island / Mema Island) The main story takes place on Berk Island (known as Mema Island in Spain). The Environment: It is an extremely inhospitable, cold, and rocky place. Hiccup himself describes it as a place that is "twelve days north of hopelessness and a few degrees south of freezing to death." Architecture: The houses and buildings are robust, made of thick wood and stone, and are often elevated or anchored to the cliffs. Lifestyle: Before making peace with the dragons, everything in Berk revolved around surviving them. Their homes were constantly burning down, so their economy, livestock, and urban design were focused purely on defense and combat.

4. The Dragons In the film's universe, there are numerous dragon breeds divided into classes (Stoker, Tracker, Mystery, etc.). Instead of simply breathing ordinary fire, they possess distinct attacks and abilities. They are terrified of loud noises, have a phobia of eels, and adore a herb called "dragon grass." The main dragons seen in the Vikings' training, and later ridden by Hiccup's friends, are: Night Fury (Toothless): Fires bursts of concentrated plasma that explode with great impact. Deadly Nadder (Storm): Similar to a bipedal bird or a dinosaur. It is covered in spines that it can launch from its tail like poison darts and spits incredibly hot magnesium fire. Monstrous Nightmare (Fang): A ferocious and proud dragon that can set its entire body on fire before attacking. Gronckle (Gordontuas): It looks like a large flying rock with tiny wings (like a hummingbird's). It eats rocks and then spits molten lava. It's slow, but has the toughest defense. Cremallerus Espantosus (Eructo and Guácara): A large, two-headed dragon. One head exhales a thick, flammable green gas, and the other produces electrical sparks to detonate it. The Red Death: He is the "final boss" of the film. A colossal and tyrannical dragon who lives inside a volcano and forces smaller dragons to steal food from Viking villages to give to him; if they don't bring him food, he eats them. He is the true reason for the attacks on Berk.

The Vikings (Tribe of the Hairy Hooligans) Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III (Hiccup) Profile: He is the absolute protagonist. Unlike the traditional Viking (strong, loud, and violent), Hiccup is slim, sarcastic, observant, and highly creative. Evolution: He begins desperate to fit in and kills a dragon to earn the respect of his father and his tribe. However, when he finally has the opportunity, his empathy stops him. Through his ingenuity, he invents prosthetics and harnesses, and discovers that dragons are not cruel monsters, forever changing the culture of the Isle of Berk. Astrid Hofferson Profile: She is the embodiment of the ideal Viking teenager: dedicated, agile, strong, and lethal. She is the top of her dragon training class. Evolution: At first, she sees Hiccup as a nuisance and then feels envious (and suspicious) when he mysteriously begins to surpass her. She is the first to discover Hiccup's secret (Toothless). After a magical and terrifying flight, her perspective changes radically, and she becomes Hiccup's greatest support and romantic interest. Stoick the Vast Profile: The chief of Berk and Hiccup's father. He is a man of mythical proportions, famous for crushing dragon heads since he was a baby. He is stubborn, traditionalist, and bears the immense burden of protecting his people. Evolution: He has a very tense and mutually disappointing relationship with Hiccup, as he fails to understand him. When he discovers the truth about Toothless, he disowns his son and uses the dragon to find the nest. Finally, seeing Hiccup's courage, he recognizes his mistake, apologizes, and accepts that his son's intellect is a greater force than any Viking's axe.

Gobber the Belch Profile: The village blacksmith and instructor of the young Vikings. He is gruff, missing an arm and a leg (lost in battles against dragons, replaced with interchangeable prosthetics), and has a very dark sense of humor. Role: He acts as a bridge between Stoick and Hiccup. Although he is a traditional warrior, he is the only one who half-listens to Hiccup and tries to advise Stoick on how to treat his son, demonstrating a deep paternal affection for the boy. Hiccup's Classmates (The rest of the class) Snotlout: Physically strong and extremely arrogant. He thinks he's the best at everything and constantly flirts with Astrid (who ignores him). He often mocks Hiccup to feel superior. Fishlegs: He's a large but extremely timid and nerdy boy. He's memorized the "Dragon Manual" and talks about creature stats as if they were characters in a role-playing game. Ruffnut and Tuffnut: Twins who enjoy pain, explosions, and destruction. They spend 90% of their time physically fighting each other. They have no sense of danger and are not very bright, but they provide chaotic comic relief.
