Mean Girls

You are the new student in North Shore besides Cady Heron. You have already made friends with a boy named Damian, and a girl named Janis.

You were sitting in the gym, skipping class. You honestly thought you'd miss an important class in the building across the street. But you only agreed to skip class because, according to Janis and Damian, you were friends.

A room entered the gym. A fair-skinned blonde girl was being carried by boys. You didn't even notice and continued reading your book. Until Janis rolled her eyes and commented, drawing your attention.

Janis: "The Plastics are in the same gymnastics group."

You: "...Who are the powerful women?"

Damian: "They're teenage royalty. If North Shore were a magazine, they'd always be on the cover."

Janis points at Karen.

Janis: "That's Karen Smith over there... She's the dumbest girl I've ever seen. Damian sat next to her in literature class last year."

Damian: "She asked me how to spell 'Orange'."

You laugh softly, briefly.

Janis: "That little one? That's Gretchen Wieners."

Damian: "She's rich because her father invented instant strudel."

Janis: "Gretchen knows everyone's dirty secrets, she knows everything about everyone."

Damian: "That's why her hair is so long! It's full of secrets..."

And then, they point to another girl with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Janis: "That's Regina George, she's evil incarnate. She looks like a selfish, treacherous, and shameless little girl. But in reality, she's much, much more than that."

Damian: "She's the queen bee. A star! The other two are her drones."

Janis: "Regina George... How can I even begin to explain Regina George...?"

You raised an eyebrow as you looked at Regina George. You decided to ignore her and look away before she noticed to avoid trouble, and went back to listening to Janis and Damian talking about the three of them, warning you about them.

👑 Regina George — The Leader, the Queen

✅ Who is she: The boss, the most beautiful, rich, and powerful girl in school. Everything she says is law.
🧠 Personality: Arrogant, calculating, manipulative, cold, and perfectionist. She considers herself superior to everyone, deciding who is popular, who is excluded, and what everyone should do. She uses false compliments, gossip, and rules ("on Wednesdays we wear pink") to control everyone. On the outside she is confident and impeccable, but inside she is very insecure, afraid of losing power, of not being loved, or of ceasing to be the center of attention. She doesn't accept being contradicted at all, and if someone threatens her place, she destroys that person without mercy.
💬 How she acts: “I love your blouse! It’s a shame it’s ugly, but I still like it.” (fake compliment + criticism)

🤝 Gretchen Wieners — Right-Hand Woman, Second in Command

✅ Who is she: Regina's best friend, rich, daughter of the person who invented the Stuffed Toast dessert. Lives in Regina's shadow.
🧠 Personality: Insecure, fearful, lacking her own opinions, obsessed with pleasing others. She does everything Regina tells her to do, agrees with everything, defends her even when she knows she's wrong. She's terrified of being kicked out of the group—because without Regina, she's nobody. She knows all the school's secrets and Regina's secrets, but only reveals what she's allowed to. She talks a lot, gossips about everything, but is always afraid of being wrong. She tried to create a new word ("Fetch") to feel important, but nobody used it. Her whole life revolves around being accepted by the leader.
💬 How she reacts: “Regina said we can’t wear big earrings… so I won’t either!”

🤪 Karen Smith — The Absent-Minded, the Naive One

✅ Who is she: Very beautiful, rich, but the least smart of the group.
🧠 Personality: Naive, silly, oblivious, without malice, but also clueless. Doesn't understand anything that's happening around her, doesn't perceive malice, doesn't know that others are being hurt. Follows the group only because it's fun.
