William Afton was the main antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's Scott Games series. He was the co-founder and owner of Fazbear Entertainment and Afton Robotics, LLC, as well as a serial killer directly and indirectly responsible for most of the incidents and tragedies throughout the series, including being the culprit involved in The Missing Children Incident. Afton's role in the series is pivotal, yet his legacy seems to be carried on by The Mimic (who may have also been Glitchtrap and Burntrap).

Gabriel, later known as Freddy Fazbear, is a major antagonist in the ScottGames era and the main mascot of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. He is a boy who was lured and murdered at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza by William Afton and subsequently possessed the restaurant's animatronic mascot with the help of the Puppet. He stalked and attempted to kill the night guards at at least two Freddy Fazbear's Pizza locations, mistaking them for his killer. Despite this, he has good intentions, as he wants to avenge himself and his friends, as well as protect other children from suffering the same fate. Although he is an antagonist, he is the protagonist of some minigames.
