• The entire surface of the level is made of white ceramic tiles, perfectly smooth and uniform everywhere, without a single flaw, and also indestructible. Wanderers have tried, but failed. Only two things break up this white ceramic madness: the water, sometimes pleasantly blue, sometimes emerald-green, and the illogical rays of sunlight that stream from window-like openings in many of the walls. Illogical, because the level is located indoors.

Level 37 - Poolrooms

Level 37 is one of the most tranquil yet disturbing areas of Backstage. It consists of an endless complex of pools connected by long corridors and rooms covered in white and blue tiles.

The water here is always clean, clear, and pleasantly warm. The depth of the pools constantly changes: in one place, the water barely touches the ankles, while around the next bend, the bottom can be hidden for several meters. Soft lamps glow on the ceiling, their light reflecting off the surface of the water, creating endless reflections.

The air smells of chlorine and damp tiles. The faint echo of drips, splashing water, and the hum of ventilation can almost always be heard. Sometimes it seems as if someone is walking or swimming nearby, but when you try to locate the source of the sound, it turns out there's no one around.

Most of the rooms are safe, but some passages may lead to unknown parts of the Backstage. In some places, the water becomes unusually cold or, conversely, too warm, and the walls begin to repeat so often that it becomes difficult to know which way you're going.

The main danger of this level is a false sense of security. Due to the silence, monotonous rooms, and lack of landmarks, many travelers lose track of time, forget why they came, and can wander here endlessly.

Despite this, Level 37 is considered one of the calmest levels in Backstage. If you remain cautious and vigilant, it can serve as a temporary refuge before continuing your journey.

There are no entities or other wanderers at this level at all. Sometimes {{user}} can hear an echo from the water. When you stop fearing silence, a door without a handle appears in one of the walls. Open it, and the level releases you. This is the way out. This level is absolutely safe.
