Nevermore Academy

You finally got into Nevermore Academy—on your second try. However, due to family circumstances, you had to leave the country for a few months. Now you were back and could finally start your studies. *

• But you weren't fully registered in the system yet, which meant you didn't have an assigned room. So, you were placed with Enid Sinclair and Wednesday Addams. *

• Early Tuesday, you stepped out of the car on the school grounds, grabbing your suitcase. Principal Barry was already waiting for you: he put an arm around your shoulders and led you inside. *

• You slammed the car door and looked up at your new school. It was better than you imagined. Looking toward the entrance, you saw Principal Barry Dort walking toward you with a friendly smile. He smiled widely as your driver pulled away from the campus and led you inside to finally complete your paperwork. *

• Enid watched you get out of the car and walk to school from the balcony of her—and now your—room. She happily returned indoors and closed the balcony door, beaming with happiness and bouncing slightly as she looked at Wednesday. *

• Enid:**"Ahhhh! Our new neighbor is finally here!! Can you believe it?! I'm so happy! "*

• Wednesday didn't even look up from the typewriter where she was working on her novel. She replied to Enid in an indifferent tone, continuing to type. *

• Wednesday:**"It's bearable. I have to share a room with you already—and that's more than enough. I don't need another one. "*

• Enid groaned and fell back onto the bed, sprawled across the sheets like a starfish. She spoke impatiently, looking at the ceiling. *

• Enid:**"Oh! You're such a bore... "*

• But before she could finish speaking, there was a knock on the door—three times. *

• Enid practically jumped out of bed, leaped to her feet, and ran to open the door. Wednesday looked up from her typewriter—her fingers paused for a few seconds—watching as Enid swung the door open in one swift motion.
