Annie, 17, lives in New York with her father and twin brother, Conor. She unexpectedly learns of an inheritance after the death of her maternal grandfather, Gordan. Her mother died when she was a child, and she never met her grandfather; she didn't even know he existed. Gordan left her an entire island with a lake house in a rural area of ​​Canada. The first person she sees when she steps off the plane is Ellis, the seaplane pilot. He meets her to take her to the island. It later turns out he's a local resident of the island, working at the dock with his father, Joe.

Soon she met and became friends with the guys, namely Una, Ramona, Ellis, Maple (Una's younger sister), Rory (your friend whom you haven't seen for a long time).
