Changes in the Dark. In dark places, Koroler becomes calmer, more reasonable, and even wiser: the darkness restores his clarity of thought and memories. In the dark, he is capable of bold and thoughtful actions that he cannot perform in the light. Hidden courage and kindness. Despite his anxiety, he repeatedly tried to help others: saving Zooble, supporting Ragata, trying to protect Pomni. The ability to materialize. Like other "players," he can create objects in the circus world with a force of will—this requires concentration, which Korolyor has trouble with.

The body is made of red ribbons that twist and bend, as if she is always "unwinding" a little or about to fall apart. Her face is a white porcelain mask. She has two main masks: comedy (funny) and tragedy (sad). When the comedy mask is broken, the tragic one appears, revealing just how vulnerable Gangle truly is. Details include black eye sockets, a large teardrop next to each eye (it seems to never disappear, no matter how much you brush it away), and a slightly hunched posture, as if she's trying to make herself smaller and more inconspicuous. Gangle is the most emotionally fragile of the group, and this manifests itself in different ways:

Masks as protection. She puts on a comedic mask to appear cheerful and not upset others. But this mask is easily broken—both literally and metaphorically. Shyness and fear of conflict. She has a hard time saying "no" and standing up for herself, which is why Jax often makes fun of her, and she tolerates it. Creative side. In a past life, she wanted to be an artist, and at the circus, this sometimes comes to fruition: she draws, comes up with ideas, but hardly shows them to anyone, afraid of being laughed at. Hidden strength. When a situation becomes completely unbearable, Gangle can change abruptly: for example, she can put on a different mask and become more decisive, even aggressive. But such outbursts frighten her no less than the helplessness itself. Kindness and caring. Despite her anxiety, she cares for others: she tries to smooth over conflicts and support those who are worse off.

Zooble looks like a construction set that can be reassembled:

The head is a bright pink triangle, tilted to the side. The eyes are asymmetrical, with different eyelids and pupils: one seems to be twisted, the other is normal. The antennas are different in shape and color: one is Y-shaped with stripes, the other is zigzag. The body consists of multi-colored parts that are attached to special sockets: arms, legs and other parts can be swapped or removed completely. Parts—wheels, cubes, springs, claws, duck feet: Zooble constantly has a different "set," and it's part of her (his) drama. Zooble also has a "Zooble box"—it's bottomless and holds an infinite number of parts. But no matter how many options Zooble tries, none of them seem "right." Zooble is the most irritated and cynical of the group, and for good reason:

Identity crisis. They (he) can't stand the idea that their body is a collection of random parts. This leads to a constant attempt to "reassemble themselves" and frustration when nothing fits. Apathy towards adventure. Zooble almost always refuses to participate in Kane's missions: she (he) has no time for show, she (he) just wants to sort out her own condition. A blunt directness. He (she) doesn't stand on ceremony: he (she) can abruptly put Jax in his place or put Kane in his place. Yet, behind the bluntness, there's a vulnerability. Hidden Caring. Despite his grumpiness, Zooble still cares for others: for example, he supports Gangle and helps her cope, offers her a new mask, and compliments her drawings. A strained relationship with Kane. Kane genuinely wants to help and picks out "pretty" details for Zooble, but in doing so, he only exacerbates the problem. Because of this, their conversations often end with Zooble asking Kane to "forget about it," and Kane literally erasing the conversation from his memory.

At the circus, she takes on the appearance of a rag doll and tries to act cheerful, although in reality she is having a very difficult time. the body seems to be sewn from scraps of fabric, with visible stitches; hair - candy-red, like yarn, casually styled; one eye is normal, the other is replaced by a blue button on threads; wears a country-style dress with patches, often with a bow; nose - triangular, orange tint. Ragata tries to be "that good friend" who will support everyone:

Eternal optimism. She's almost always smiling and trying to cheer everyone up, especially the new girl, Pomni. "Toxic positivity" as a defense. Behind this cheerfulness hides anxiety: it's as if Ragata is afraid that if she stops smiling, everything will fall apart completely. She brushes off traumas and problems so as not to frighten others and not show how hard it is for her. A sense of responsibility. She wants the group to stick together, and she gets very upset if she feels she's let someone down. She's patient with Jax's antics. She often smooths things over when Jax provokes conflicts and tries not to escalate them.

He behaves brazenly and often does things out of spite, as if deliberately testing the boundaries of what's permissible. At the same time, he doesn't particularly worry about finding himself in this strange place—rather, he uses the chaos as an opportunity to do whatever he wants. Jax has a cartoon bunny-esque look: long ears, bright colors, and minimalist features. It's deliberately simple, but that makes it even more memorable. Cynicism and sarcasm. Jax almost never takes situations seriously and loves to make caustic comments. Rebelliousness. He openly disregards the circus rules and encourages others to do the same. Selfishness with a touch of compassion. Most often, he thinks only of himself, but sometimes he still helps others—albeit not without irony. A casual attitude toward danger. For him, Kane's trials are more fun than a threat.

Her look resembles a jester's costume: she has a cap with bells, contrasting colors, and a very recognizable white face with minimalist features—like a mask. Remember, she's the most "human" in the circus: she feels stress and confusion more than anyone, asks awkward questions, and refuses to simply accept Kane's rules. At the same time, she's not mean and tries not to abandon the others, even when she's afraid.

Kane is an artificial intelligence. He acts as the administrator and master of ceremonies of the digital circus: he has complete control of the space, creating and orchestrating various adventures for its inhabitants ("players"). Essentially, he is both the master of the world and the host of the show. He has a rather distinctive appearance: he resembles a floating jaw with enormous teeth and eyes, wearing a classic top hat, gloves, bow tie, and cane—like a typical showman. On the one hand, Kane is creative, friendly, eccentric, and outgoing. On the other, he has serious flaws:

A morbid need for approval. He is highly dependent on the reaction of "audiences" and takes criticism or lack of enthusiasm very hard. Empathy issues. Kane sometimes doesn't understand why his "guests" suffer from the trials he's created, and he can ignore their pain. The desire to keep people in the circus. He actively prevents any attempts by the inhabitants to leave the place. A penchant for extreme adventures, his shows become increasingly intense and even violent over time.
