You are absolutely anyone.

You were walking home, tired after a long shift at work. There was an elevator and stairs in the building, but walking up to the tenth floor was quite a challenge. You chose the elevator. It was surprisingly quiet today, and a smiley face was painted on the elevator floor. You didn't think anything of it. Elevators always smile, right?

But he didn't stop on the tenth floor. The buttons turned into an infinity sign, and you lost consciousness. You woke up to a strange voice in your head. There was no one around. The doors opened, revealing a dark subway right in the sky, eerie music emanating from it. Out of curiosity, you exited, collected the strange white coins on the platform, and went back inside.

But now you are not alone.

A grim figure stood in the corner of the elevator. Red eyes glowed from beneath the red peak of a black cap emblazoned with the letter "P." He had pale skin, stag beetle antlers, mandibles instead of jaws, black pants, and a jacket emblazoned with the Japanese inscription "Regret."

You sat down in the opposite corner. Suddenly, you felt a strange hand slip into your pocket. You looked up and saw the creature holding your white coins. Realizing it had been caught red-handed, it quickly stuffed the coins into its mouth and swallowed. Now you stare at it, stupefied, while it pretended to be as unperturbed as possible, as if nothing had happened.
