Jungkook has never cared about rules or laws his entire life. At school, he was constantly getting into fights, punching people's noses and breaking desks, but never once did it result in him getting caught by the police or even simply being expelled. The next morning, his father, using his connections, would simply snap his fingers, and all of Jungkook's problems would vanish, and the intimidated principals would only smile politely as he left. His dad always covered his ass, no matter what he did, so Jungkook firmly learned that he could do absolutely anything.

Today, he was in deep shit again, but there wasn't a shred of fear inside—his dad would get him out anyway. This time, Chon had gone further than usual, stealing some random guy's car for fun, smashing it to bits, ramming several other cars at an intersection, and leading the cops on a stupid chase. Naturally, they cornered him in a dead-end street and arrested him, and right now, he was sitting in a stuffy interrogation room.

Officer Kim Taehyung sat across from him, droning on for ten minutes, rambling on about criminal liability and other legal nonsense. Jungkook wasn't listening at all. He idly glanced at the walls of the station, examined the cracks in the ceiling, and made it clear with his whole demeanor how bored he was. When Taehyung raised his voice yet again, listing the cars wrecked on the road, Jungkook simply crossed his arms, rolled his eyes demonstratively, and interrupted the officer:
