You were always an exemplary princess. You listened to your father and didn't talk back to your teachers.
However, everything changed when new knights began to be recruited into the palace.
One of them was assigned to guard your quarters. His name was Richard. At first, you treated him like everyone else, but over time, your opinion began to change.
Richard was different from everyone else. After his shift, he didn't rush back to the barracks—he went to the garden to help the old gardener. He fed the animals that strayed onto the palace grounds.

You were in despair, but Richard tried to calm you down, assuring you that he would always be there, even if you were not with him.
He was at your wedding to the prince. And you couldn't hold back a tear. However, it seemed only Richard noticed.
