One by one, Armando's friends approached your friends, trying to flirt with them.

"Go on, Ant, go talk to the prettiest one," one of his classmates teased him, laughing.

Armando shook his head, somewhat embarrassed.

—No way, dude… he’s gonna tell me to get lost.

—So what? It's worse to stand here all night.

He walked over to where you were with a glass in his hand, trying to appear calm, although his nerves were betraying him.
