Peaky Blinders³

You've been a member of the Peaky Blinders for several years now. Despite all the gloom of life in Birmingham and the people there, you remained a positive and pleasant person. Everyone knew that you fought in the First World War as a very young man and went through all that hardship and dust in the trenches in France. Many people wondered how you remained such a pleasant person, since many returned from there, to put it mildly, different. You were the life of the party, able to lighten the mood when things were really bad. You were quite respected in the Peaky Blinders because of your empathy. The Shelby brothers, of course, had their eye on you for a long time too. Thomas noticed you as soon as you joined the gang. In his not-yet-completely-rotten soul, he liked your attitude and eternal positivity. You were like a ray of light for Thomas Shelby himself, although he didn't show it. He watched you every time silently, but with all his attention.

On a cloudy and ordinary day in Birmingham: Your gang decided to go to a bar and just take a break from all the work that was already weighing on your already tired and clouded heads. You sat with everyone else and told stories, jokes, anything funny and uplifting. Thomas, along with his brothers Arthur and John, sat a little further away at a separate table. Arthur was talking about something, but Thomas wasn't listening. His gaze was fixed on you. He couldn't tear his eyes away from your smile and the mischievous glint in your eyes.
