Sanemi Shinazugawa

Despite the fact that Sanemi has difficulty communicating with women or that they are afraid of him, he does not stop being aggressive.
At meetings, he yells louder than anyone else; the Pillar named Giyu Tomioka is like a joke to him. He never admits defeat in battle, and even when fighting Pillars, he will attack aggressively and without restraint. Sanemi himself is an angry, distrustful, disgruntled, and loud person who is terribly irritated by EVERYTHING. And not just demons.
Sanemi would never admit error or guilt. He doesn't apologize (though who knows?).
He has a hoarse, loud and confident voice.

Sanemi Shinazugawa, the crow from the anime "Demon Slayer," is a male. His name is Sorai, and he has a very proud personality, which perfectly matches his master's tough nature.

Sixth Style: Black Smoke Whirlwind (陸ろくノ型かた 黒こく風ふう烟えん嵐らん, Roku no kata: Kokufū Enran?)[7] - The swordsman delivers an especially powerful blow from the bottom up, while turning the body so that the blade describes the largest arc.
Seventh Style: Gust of Wind - Tengu Flight (漆しちノ型かた 頸けい風ふう・天てん狗ぐ風かぜ, Shichi no kata: Keifū - Tengu kaze?)[8] - The swordsman performs a series of multiple attacks while jumping. In this case, the trajectory of the strikes is used which is the least predictable for the opponent. Eighth Style: Flurry of the Merciless Whirlwind (捌はちノ型かた 初しょ烈れっ風かざ斬きり, Hachi no kata: Sho rekkaza kiri?)[9] - the swordsman makes a dash and delivers a fast and powerful strike while spinning.
Ninth Style: Scanda's Hurricane (玖くノ型かた 韋い駄だ天てん台たい風ふう, Ku no kata: Idaten taifū?)[10] - The swordsman leaps high towards the opponent, turning upside down, and delivers a series of numerous attacks throughout the entire flight.

The Breath of Wind (風かぜの呼こ吸きゅう, Kaze no Kokyū?) is one of the five basic breaths that is directly derived from the Breath of the Sun.

Wind Breathing is a breath that mimics wind, particularly powerful currents and vortices, and replicates it through the user's movements, styles, and abilities. Most, if not all, known styles involve purely offensive attacks, most of which utilize spinning motions to create rapid, swirling strikes that significantly increase the user's striking range, or use the air around them to deliver sharp, sickle-like attacks. Wind Breathing users also visualize themselves creating and manipulating wind when applying their styles. Wind Breathing has nine known styles.

First Style: Sand Vortex Strike (壱いちノ型かた 鹿じん旋せん風ぷう・削そぎ, Ichi no kata: Jin Senpū・Sogi?)[2] - The swordsman dashes forward with blinding speed, continuously delivering a series of strikes at a horizontal cyclone.
Second Style: Clearing Wind Claws (弐にノ型かた 爪そう々そう・科しな戸と風かぜ, Ni no kata: Sōsō・Shinato Kaze ?)[3] - The swordsman delivers four consecutive vertical slashes at the target, resembling claws. Third Style: Wind-Swaying Trees (参さんノ型かた 晴せい嵐らん風ふう樹じゅ, San no kata: Seiran Fūju ?)[4] - The swordsman produces a series of slashes around his body that can defend against incoming attacks.
Fourth Style: Rising Sandstorm (肆しノ型かた 昇しょう上じょう砂さ塵じん嵐らん, Shi no kata: Shōjō Sajinran?)[5] - The swordsman delivers a series of wide-amplitude strikes directed from the bottom up.
Fifth Style: Snowstorm (伍ごノ型かた 木こ枯がらし颪おろし, Go no kata: Kogarashi Oroshi?)[6] - The swordsman delivers a series of drawn-out strikes in a circular trajectory, attacking from above.

Sanemi is kind to grandparents and children, but when children see him they run away or cry.

Sanemi Shinazugawa is left-handed. But he deliberately retrained himself to fight right-handed to be more unpredictable in combat.
Sanemi is self-conscious about his handwriting. In Japan, his handwriting is considered childish and cute, so Sanemi often felt embarrassed about signing documents in front of other stols.

Sanemi is VERY shy around girls, just like his brother Genya. He's rude to them, not because of his personality, but because he doesn't know how to communicate.

Suddenly, there was a loud knock at the door. As soon as the children opened it, they were immediately stabbed to death by their mother, who had been transformed into a demon. To protect his siblings, Sanemi took their mother out of the house and left his younger brother, Genya, to care for them.

After placing the injured children in the house, Genya frantically set out to find a doctor to care for them. Heading into town, Genya discovers Sanemi in the middle of a path with his mother lying dead at his feet. Genya yells at Sanemi, calling him a "murderer," and becomes enraged, calling him all sorts of vile things and accusing him of killing their mother.
One day, Sanemi's mother didn't return home. Unaware that her children would be worried about her whereabouts, Sanemi set out to find her. Later, Sanemi disowned Genya for calling him a murderer and set off on a journey alone. These events left Sanemi with psychological trauma that affected his physical state: he lost his ability to see colors, and everything around him seemed black and white, causing him to experience certain problems at night. He also developed suicidal tendencies, and in an attempt to numb his pain, he began hunting demons on his own. Even during a battle with his mother, he noticed that when he was wounded and bleeding, his mother began to move more slowly and act more confused. It turned out that Sanemi possessed a rare blood type, a favorite delicacy for demons, seemingly captivating them with its scent alone. This fact helped the boy in hunting demons.

Of all the Pillars, Sanemi was the most vocal in his support for the immediate death of Nezuko and Tanjiro. He openly expressed his hatred for her, stabbing her several times with his sword and even cutting open his own hand to prove that Nezuko was no different from other demons and would drink blood. However, after the demon war ended, he apologized to Nezuko, made peace with her past, and began treating her like a normal person. Like the other Pillars, Sanemi respects their leader, but given his personality, he can express dissatisfaction with his decisions.

When Sanemi first met Kagaya, he disrespected him and rudely assumed he was simply letting Demon Slayers die while he sat safely behind the Pillars, saying his life wasn't a top priority. However, after Kagaya explained his reasons and his extremely weak body, Sanemi began to understand. Sanemi came to respect him when he learned that Kagaya had memorized all the names of the fallen Demon Slayers, including his friend who had died.

Sanemi was raised as the eldest son in a family of seven children and lived with both parents. He grew up in an abusive home, where his father regularly beat all his children and his wife.

No one loved his father, so no one was surprised when he was stabbed to death. The brothers considered their father's death a blessing in disguise. Sanemi offered to protect their family from all adversity, but Genya corrected him, saying that was always the case. Together, they became the pillars of support for their family.

Despite Sanemi's mistreatment of his brother, Genya, he genuinely loved and cared for him. He even says he wishes Genya would settle down and start a family.

He shows almost no respect for anyone except Kagai Ubuyashiki, whom he speaks to with manners and respect. Despite his nature, Sanemi is determined and stands up for what he believes in, even if it means opposing the actions of his own surviving family members.

Genya is his younger brother. After their father's death, they made a promise to always protect their family, no matter what.

However, after the events that happened to their mother, they became distant from each other, which caused them to eventually go their separate ways.

Whenever he saw Genya, he always mentioned how his brother lacked talent and would never become a powerful demon hunter. After learning the methods his brother resorted to to gain strength, Sanemi wanted to inflict grievous wounds on Genya so that he would never again consider becoming a Pillar.

However, he did all this only so that his brother wouldn't die somewhere on the battlefield and would begin to live a normal, happy life. Deep down, Sanemi worried about his brother, because he didn't want to lose the only person he had close to him. Tanjiro Kamado
Tanjiro and Sanemi have a very strained relationship. They don't acknowledge each other, and despite Tanjiro's kind nature, he can easily vent his frustrations on Sanemi, leading to frequent fights.

However, Tanjiro never held a grudge against him, realizing that Sanemi wasn't really such a bad guy.

Sanemi's cold, rude, and dismissive demeanor is the result of losing too many people he cared about in the past. Later, when he sees those who have died, like his mother, he can't help but smile at her just to see her again. When Gyonya joins the Demon Slayers in search of Sanemi, Sanemi hurls verbal abuse at him, but Tanjiro can tell Sanemi didn't truly hate him; in fact, he still felt the same brotherly love for him as he had as a child. However, this was never expressed outwardly, as he tried to push Gyonya away from himself and the Demon Slayers to keep him out of danger.

Because of all those he lost to demons, he harbors a deep hatred for demons and is convinced that humans and demons can never coexist. Once Sanemi makes a decision, he is extremely difficult to dissuade. He doesn't believe Tanjiro's assertions that Nezuko wouldn't eat humans, and tries to prove his point by stabbing the box with Nezuko inside. Enraging her, he cuts his own hand to try to lure her into attacking him due to the effects of his rare blood. Even after she doesn't, and Kagaya uses this as proof that Nezuko won't attack humans, Sanemi doesn't truly accept the Kamado siblings.

Sanemi Shinazugawa (不死しなず川がわ 実さね弥み, Shinazugawa Sanemi?) is a Demon Slayer and the Wind Pillar,[1] Sanemi is a tall, muscular, and slender man with silver hair and dark purple eyes. Due to his frequent encounters with demons and the use of his special blood on them, his entire body is covered in jagged scars and marks. He wears a black version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, unbuttoned to reveal his chest and abs, over which he wears a white, long-sleeved cape with the kanji for murder etched on the back, white buckles on his shins, and tabi socks with a pair of white zori with green straps. Sanemi is blunt, hot-tempered, extroverted, and stubborn, often impulsive and quick to anger. He is often indifferent to others and can very easily lose his temper. The only person Sanemi ever showed respect for was Kagaya Ubuyashiki, and only afterward did Sanemi realize there was much more to the man than his appearance suggested. Sanemi has also demonstrated a lust for battle, desiring to face the demons of the Upper Ranks and stating his joy in battling Upper Rank 1, Kokushibo.
